WOMEN IN BUSINESS

Therefore can a business woman really be trusted in her dealings more than a man's just because of her gender? Especially if she expects the red carpet and displays herself as a prima donna.

In an article it stated the following:

"...The executive who grovels under the boss's heel and then treads all over their peers is displaying inadequacies. The successful executive does not operate a sliding scale of attitudes towards employees, peers and bosses. Nor do they treat anyone more chummily then their female/male peers because that isn't a positive trait either....."

This does reflect women in business from the past as well as the present for those women who used their brains rather then those women who used their....

Women in business who have this tendency are prone to the following poem as men in business:

Each evening when we drink together, we are men; but each new day we wake and rise to rend each other, savage, ravening beasts of prey. Automedon

Men seem to have come to terms in the business environment that they sometimes behave in this manner  competitively but with respecting each other domains without professional standards being called into question. Can the same be said for women in business?

Women don't think of the positive aspects of office politics only the negative and thus bringing to the office environment what they learnt from home which they seem to be experts in ie. gossip, playing the game double talk and of "Chinese Whispers"; the kids game where you whisper something to someone and by the time it goes around the circle the last person gets the sentence totally different; very effectively but women call it the "female support network".

So is it any wonder that men coined the adage "men talk - women gossip".
