MAVERICKS ARE PREMIUM

 

Mavericks have a tarnished reputation which is totally unjustified. Most pompous executives ignore them because mavericks are assumed to be wild, wayward and have strayed away from the company. Executives think they should be the only ones with solutions and insights, its their own vanity which causes further problems in the corporation because they ignore or squelch those who offer practical modifications to services and products because polite and politically correct society shuns mavericks.

Maverick thinking is crucial to any company and they have founded some of the largest and most successful companies.

They view the world differently as they offer innovation and are purveyors of common sense, they don't state a solution until they have thought about all functions and reactions based on their models as they have a inquiring mind to scout in all directions.

Mavericks have the capacity of realising what others are only thinking about as an intractable problem, reframing it and revealing a solution or two. Also they have the ability and talent of stimulating others to solve their own problems. They are the most unlikely managers but they get the results for a business which is visible to the company's profits but don't ask them to explain their methodology to you.

Every organisation needs and requires mavericks to be there in the company.  Most Chairmen and CEOs were once and underneath they are still mavericks that got bogged down with corporate procedures but  they forget or long for those thrilling days when they first started business because a maverick don't usually fit into organisations charts so well.

The other employees are usually envious, jealous, secretly or openly and probably do everything possible to undermine a maverick.  The Personnel Department would receive more complaints about a maverick in the organisation and have more warnings given to a maverick because their focus is not on being popular nor participating in social office politics but concentrating on doing explicit work that is required of them.

They prefer the confrere of others because the acknowledgement of their work rather than seeking emotional security and acceptance in an organisation or society this is a myth and a misunderstanding surrounding mavericks.

Mavericks who don't recognise themselves are rushed through their work as if there is some sort of urgency to accomplish greatness in one bound. Mavericks have to find their own balance and work style which centres on their own barometer.

They are self-assured in their analysis of business work. They have the raw energy to progress and are the jewels that make any company out-shine most competitors.

There is usually admiration for males who have this quality of being a maverick because the men's movements historically have been recorded.

As to some female mavericks being stomped into the A Female Rogueground historically, depends on wind velocity...sticking her finger in her mouth slowly withdrawing it to ensure enough saliva is placed on it and holds it up to the wind. Also the direction of the said throw as to landing location...getting her clinometer out.  But crucially having a female maverick in the organisation depends on whether she was preponderate in her profile and how much contumacious she was born with to take the impact with prestidigitation.

There have been females such as Sappho from Greek times, Boadicea and her daughters from Britain, Jinga of West Africa, Joan of Arc of France and Queen Jhansi of India to Deborah Sampson of the USA and many others etc., because they break new ground, they see new relationships and opportunities.

Red Sonja An example is the science-fiction film Red Sonja (1985) from books written by Robert E. Howard, where two mavericks are placed together for a purpose.   Conan the Barbarian would have still lost that particular sword fight to her had he the energy to continue. Even in business to concede to a maverick just seems that pride gets stuck in other's throats.

Mavericks are and can be a great asset because they always want something different and they keep building on what there is and making sure it gets done, they have the least concern for the how equation or the length of time it takes, even when distracted they would make use of the interruption to have a clearer understanding which are specific to their needs and to probe harder questions that sends them back to the drawing boards to re-evaluate.

The mavericks in a business will find profit in most enterprises rather than rebelling against it.  Judge the ideas of the maverick not the way its presented to a company.  Also if judging ideas in the context of a clearer strategy, there is less chance of stopping the flow of future maverick thinking if they are allowed to get on with things or else a company will scare off other mavericks from an organisation who could help to make themselves as well as an enterprise rich, powerful and famous this is why mavericks are premium.
