CREATIVITY IN BUSINESS

When I was five years old, I was selected by the film studio, situated behind our primary school, to be in a short film they were making.

It was a cold cloudy day and the wind chilly. We stood (the boy and I), by the school gates and acted our roles. I had to offer him one of my "Smarties" chocolates.....good t'ing it weren't me last "Rolo" chocolate he would never 'ave got it.

Another occasion was when I was eight years old. There was an announcement in assembly that particular morning of some scientific people were coming to do educational research.

Cameras were located around the playground to watch us play. As I wasn't being spoken to again by peers, I wandered around the playground by myself or sat under the shed on the bench looking at others playing.

Being a particular hot summer's day, the white port-a-cabin door was left open. After standing there looking straight into the camera for some time and mixing that with being an inquisitive eight year old, I decided to investigate.

As I stood on the steps, the man and woman smiled at me, and I shyly smiled back and said "hello". I had never seen such high tech monitoring equipment before and I was interested to ask more. Unfortunately the other kids crowded around, so I left....makes me wonder if I should 'ave got me Equity Card by now.
